Chelsea newly promoted youngster, Ethan Ampadu to be out for the rest of the season after sustaining a fracture injury in his ankle against Madrid in the Uefa Youth League competition last week.
Chelsea youth team defeated Real Madrid, 4-2 in the Knock stage of the competition despite the injury sustained by their main man and the reckless act that causes red card in the 68th minutes of the game.
The 17-year old, young talented man has been called up for international duty for Wales. Wales will be playing in the China cup during the upcoming international break and now expecting Ethan dismissal soon.
The report came up yesterday after the team’s medical center confirmed Ethan absent for the rest of the current campaign. According to the report, The Welsh may also undergo surgery on his ankle.
He joined the Senior side this season after his impressive performance from his former team, Exeter City. The 17-year-old has made four starts in seven appearances for the senior side this season.
Ethan Ampadu role was operating as a defensive midfielder, but Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte preferred him at the center back which he has appeared several times for Chelsea in the particular position. Ethan has become one of Chelsea’s boss favorite starlet as he sees something spectacular in him.
