Chelsea youngster, Andreas Christensen went for international duty to serve his country, Denmark but later sent back to the team yesterday due to fatigue.
According to the report from Dailystar, the Brazilan ace, David Luiz may replace Andreas Christensen back to his position when facing London rival, Spurs in the F.A Cup semi-final after the international break.
David Luiz returned to training after suffering from an ankle injury with Ross Barkley who was also kneeled by the hamstring injury. Both are hoping to mark their first debut after the break.
David Luiz poor start and frequent injuries knock him out of the starting Line-up, replacing him with Andreas Christensen who joined Chelsea from the long-term loan before the start of the season. Andreas Christensen form placed him ahead of the Brazilian despite his performance last season.
Report from Standard said that David Luiz may be given a chance in the starting lineup when facing the London rival, Spurs but Antonio Conte may put him absent with another method.
According to Denmark Coach on Christensen “Am not sure about the issue with him but seems to be a ordinary fatigue.”
“He said he’s fit and ready to play but taking any risk with him will be dangerous.”
“It’s quite painful to see him out of our squad.”
