Former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson has placed the newly promoted boy, Scott McTominay on a high level by comparing him with the Legendary midfielder, David Beckham who spent most of his career with Manchester United and Real Madrid.
The Starlet midfielder was impressive this season before and after he joined the Senior team. Scott has been praised by various teammates most especially role partner, Nemanja Matic who plays alongside with him in the midfield.
The Scottish international became an argument between two countries (England and Scotland) but choice his Fatherland Scotland over England.
However, The 21-year old joined Manchester United when he was eight whereby Sir Alex Ferguson has seen him as a future star at Manchester United through his passion and commitment to football.
The Scotish midfielder has become one of Jose Mourinho major player at Manchester United, seeing the attribute he wants in him. He has recorded 18 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United so far this season.
“When he joined us then, He was full of David Beckham attribute, just a little different and the difference was that he was still young to beat David.” Sir Alex told the Scottish media
“Scott played in the center-forward with the youth team when strikers were unavailable. He was chosen to play the role because of his tall height.”
Scott received his first call for Scotland in couples of days ago where he sustained an injury in his kneel.
