Current England Champion, Chelsea have stepped up interest in Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri who replaced Antonio Conte after he left for Chelsea in 2016.
After Allegri’s side lost to 12 times Champions League winner and current Champions League holder, Real Madrid at Turin yesterday, he reportedly decided to leave Italy for abroad after the campaign.
Allegri has two years left on is 10 million pounds deal signed with Juventus in 2014. Allegri has won the Italian League title three consecutive times and hoping to get the fourth one with four points ahead of Sari’s side Napoli.
Chelsea also listed former Barcelona manager Luiz Enrique and Napoli manager, Sari has one of the likely replacement for Antonio Conte. Luiz Enrique refused Chelsea mid-season offer but may consider the club after the season.
Juventus manager was frustrated with yesterday defeat after Real Madrid pull-out Allegri side out of the Champions League in the quarter-final stage of the competition. Juventus failed to win the Champions League last year as well as 2016 against Barcelona.
“We beat Tottenham Hotspur because we are higher than them but our level is below the two Spanish leaders. It was frustrating to see the team fallen apart at Turin.”
Allegri is interested in Chelsea’s job as Conte prepares to leave in the summer. Chelsea is ready to offer the particular target before the end of the season.
